I have been helping to care for children since the age of 9 but my first experience in professional childcare was as camp counselor for kids ages kindergarten through rising 4th grade. I helped make the meals for the campers and I was responsible for leading group meetings and group activities with them including taking them to the pool. I loved being a camp counselor so much I began to babysit for numerous families, and I have copies of recommendation letters to give if needed. I began working as a preschool teacher aid in April of 2015 and began as a lead teacher in October of 2015. Since then, I was a nanny (full time part time, and overnight), a substitute provider for a small Daycare, opened a small in home daycare with two colleagues, become CPR certified and have experience in caring for higher number of children at one time which has equipped me with the ability to think fast on my feet. I love working with children because I am a kid at heart and it's fun to see their imaginations at work. Plus, my favorite babysitting activities are reading, baking, and cooking.
