Hello! My name is Trish, and I’m a freshman at NC State University, but during breaks is when I call Stafford my home. I have over three years of experience caretaking for children of varying ages, in which my shift duration and requested tasks from parents have also varied and are very flexible. I also have considerable experience caring for and handling newborns, toddlers, and primary school kids after watching over my 6-year-old niece from birth to present times. I'm available to families on a live-out, occasional, or part-time basis. In addition, I am also CPR certified! If you're searching for a reliable, experienced, and considerate sitter, please do not hesitate to get in touch. In regards to my qualifications as a sitter, I am very skilled at being a responsibly, attentive, and communicative individual. I also am very good at keeping kids entertained, cooking proper meals and preparing snacks, as well as helping with any homework or extracurriculars the child may participate in. In addition, having me as your sitter is a fool-proof method in making sure any instructions, regarding chores, discipline, and free time, are carefully followed considering I am very good at following set routines if provided with one. I also aim to emphasize a safe and trusting relationship with your kids because making sure the kids feel comfortable and safe in my presence is a number one priority. I charge $13 an hour and no matter the job, I'm always reliable and attentive. If you're interested in my services, feel free to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you!

I know how challenging day care schedules can be, especially when you are under pressure at work. I feel very fortunate to be able to stay home with my kids full time right now, and I would love to offer your family care that is flexible and built around your child's needs and your schedule. I provide meals, snacks, and activities for your little ones. I have many toys inside to keep the kids engaged. When the weather is comfortable, we have a large fence area for the kids to play in with a sand box, scooters, and a small slide. Skills we work on every day: Potty training Trying new foods Learning new letters and words Learning numbers and counting, plus simple math problems Learning Colors and shapes Practicing good manners Helping with kid jobs like setting the table, cleaning up toys, etc. Learning to take care of animals (collecting chicken eggs, filling food bowls) Exploring how things work Cooking and prepping food together Some more information about me: I have two children of my own, ages 2 and 4 that I care for full time. I also have provided full and part time care for a 3 year old for about 5 months now. My background is diverse! I graduated high school in 2010 and then went into the Army. I served for years as an Expolosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, this is the Army's bomb squad essentially. After completing my service, I got a degree in Environmental Science. While I was in college I was an event planner for our schools Military and Veterans Resource Center. Once I graduated, I worked for a non-profit that supports adults with disabilities in the workplace for two years. Then I landed a job working with a small company, Aquacycl, in California doing water chemistry analysis and training people to work in the lab and do lab work in the field. I have acquired a lot of diverse skills, and I try really hard to bring those skills to our everyday life and make good memories and learning opportunities. If you have any questions, Please Reach Out! I would LOVE to hear from you and your family.
