www.....com Coventry Children’s Center is located in the repurposed former Coventry Elementary school building in Cleveland Heights. We provide full day and part-time care from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM for Infants,Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten aged children. The operators have been a fixture in the local child care community for over 20 years and are excited to once again offer an eclectic service that supports the whole child: social-emotional wellness, self-awareness,independence, academic growth and appreciation for community, nature, and family. MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to work in collaboration with parents, staff and the broader community to provide character strengthening and educational childcare in an environment that encourages emotional stability, reflective thinking, inquiry and a natural love of learning. CURRICULUM Our curriculum is designed to follow guidelines outlined by the recently published Ohio Department of Education Early and Development Standards. Within these guidelines, Coventry Children’s Center will plan activities and experiences that reflect our commitment to the arts, community building and authentic learning experiences. The 21st Century learner will be able to self-regulate, think critically and creatively to make judgments and take charge of his or her learning. Our curriculum is designed to plant the seeds for this growth. The road to this outcome begins during early childhood at Coventry Children’s Center.
