Sitter in Wichita, Kansas

Hello!! My name is Julia, and I'm new to Wichita. My husband is stationed at McConnell AFB, so we recently made the cross country trip from VA with our dog Moose! Before moving, I had a number of babysitting and pet sitting jobs, as well as some tutoring. My most recent jobs include working in a kindergarten classroom as a helper, nannying two school aged girls, and tutoring Latin through Tutor Doctor! I also worked at Michaels and taught Kids Club as well as other craft classes. I did all of these jobs at the same time; I like to stay busy!! After moving to Wichita, I began working at ELF Daycare, but because I go to school full time, there just wasn't enough time in the day for me to do my work. I am attending ODUOnline and majoring in Human Services and minoring in Child Psychology. I aspire to become an elementary school teacher or counselor one day! The online aspect allows me to work during the day while still earning my degree which I believe is extremely important. I graduated High School with an advanced diploma and earned Latin student of the year. I am CPR and first aid trained, and I am NOCTI certified, meaning I have had early childhood development training which includes nutrition, cognitive development, social emotional development, child abuse, child psychology, and plenty of experience with young children! I'd love the opportunity to meet with families and see how I could serve you and your little ones. Experience is key!! I am open to part or full time, in your home or mine (I do live in a smoke free home), I am willing to transport (clean driving record), and I'm willing to watch up to 3 children, maybe 4 depending on age.
