I have cared for my own children and others for 14 years. I have spent 10 of those years educating my children at home, so my natural instinct with children is to help them explore their environment and love learning in a fun way. Part-time, I have worked as a substitute teacher with Wake County Public Schools, so seeing children learn is a passion of mine. I have also had foster children in my home and I am a licensed foster parent. I am an adoptive parent as well, so I am well versed in things an adoptive child may face in a home. I am sensitive to cultural differences, not only between other families and myself, but within a family. I am CPR certified, and have dealt with medical emergencies from broken arms to scratches.
