Sitter in New York, New York

I am currently living in the Washington DC area, attending college, I am relocating to New York City in July 2014. I have a strong desire to become a Live-In (some flexibility) Nanny. Currently, I am a part-time nanny for my landlords two young girls (6&8) and also work in retail part-time. As for college I am a Fine Arts Major. I am 100% comfortable with housekeeping, cooking, homework help, morning/evening routines, running errands and weekend duties. Working holidays, breaks, and weekends will be no issue for me. I plan to stay in New York for the rest of my life, so I can commit to long term requests. I am completely fine with pets, seeing as I've been around animals the majority of my life. I am accustomed to fast paced lifestyles and know first hand its nice to come home and see things done and where I don't have to spend more time working. As for what I would bring to the table for your child(ren), I have a background in the arts, and I can help them appreciate somethings other than video games and toys. I was an Honors and AP throughout high school, so I know school is at the upmost importance, therefore I am able to help with homework and projects. I'm also an avid reader, and I would love to pass that love on to others. Something great that I love to do is cook; everything from baking cookies to making a chicken pot pie. I love having the girls I watch help me, I feel it makes them more interested in enjoying the meal knowing they helped make it. I have worked with children of all ages from one year to 14 years old.
