Hello! I have over 8 years of experience with children of all ages. I have been a Nanny for 6 years. I'm basically your modern day Mary Poppins. I was a Kindergarten Teacher before my career turned to the Nanny profession. I plan to stay in the Nanny profession long term and am looking for a family to work and grow with! I have a position with an Infant 3 weekdays. I am available and looking to find another family to work with on MONDAYS and/or WEDNESDAYS. I am able to drop off and pick children up from school, take children to play dates, provide many enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, reading and occasional trips to parks or museums. I am a HUGE children's book lover and share that love of reading with children as much as possible. Libraries are a great day trip! If it is nice outside, we will be having fun in the fresh air! I can also help with housekeeping duties, including laundry, organization, schoolwork and cooking. I'm not your "average" Nanny... I go above and beyond naturally (my references will tell you so!) I am very familiar with food allergies and nutritional balance. I am very caring, loyal, communicative and organized. I have my Bachelor's Degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. I am a certified K-5 teacher for the State of New Jersey. I have my own LLC for insurance and tax purposes.. makes Nanny payment much easier for both parties! I am also certified in AED, CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross. I also am familiar with administering an EpiPen. I've handled many situations and can handle almost anything that may arise in childcare. I am able to care for sick children. I have a teaching/ nanny portfolio that is available for review.
