Sitter in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi there! My name is Meghan and I'm a 19 year old student living in the Westboro area of Ottawa. Ever since I was 15 I've loved working with kids. In high school I looked after two children (7 and 9 years old) after school, helping with homework and preparing healthy snacks. For the past four summers I've enjoyed working at a sleepaway camp for girls. Each summer I was a counsellor to a cabin of 4-5 girls, ages 5-8 and 10-12. Some of my other responsibilities included working at the rock climbing wall, arts and crafts, and pottery. I was also the lead counsellor of the low ropes course. I organized games and events for all of camp, and supervised overnight canoe trips. I love photography, hiking, yoga, and baking. I am certified with Emergency First Aid and CPR-C and have also taken a parenting course. I am available to work weekends) for Fall 2017/Winter 2018.
