Sitter in Quinlan, Texas

Nice to meet you! My name is Bruce. I'm hoping to find a sitter job in--or within 25 miles of--Quinlan, Texas. I am a dependable, creative, fun sitter/nanny (or are males called "nanners"??). I will work part or full-time as required and am available to travel, if that's what you also need. (Will watch your child[ren] at my home, if required. We have a pool with slide.) I've raised 2 boys and a girl, and often watch my 7-year-old grandson and 8-year-old granddaughter ... since they were babies. Kids find me fascinating! I lost my left eye as a teen, so *some* children think they're being watched by a pirate! (Really helps in the behavior department....) I do more than, "Let's watch TV." I've taught: How to use a magnifying glass, what a nut-and-bolt are and how to put them together, what rubber cement is and built paper things & planes, to give you an idea. I have a good sense of humor and can get children laughing pretty easily. There are times we have to *insist* the grandkids go home! Service Abilities: I have a reliable car and am comfortable doing transport to and from extracurricular activities, can do meal preparation, and school pick-up and drop-off. I can even help with homework ... at least until they hit high school algebra, anyway! Plus, I'm comfortable working with sick children.
