Cat's Camp is a home-based daycare that is currently taking applications for kids potty-trained age and older. Flat rate of $150 weekly for unlimited weekday and weekend use. Price includes: meals, snacks, supplies, and optional monthly field trips to Children's Museum and Dinosaur Park to ride the train. Weekly schedule starts with unstructured free play where the child can use this time to assimilate into the atmosphere for the day. A snack or homecooked lunch is provided using tasty recipes with an emphasis on fresh, whole foods. Next: guitar and singing time or a puppet show, depending on the children's request. Then a fun, easy science lesson about various topics throughout the month will take place. Afterward, the kids can either nap or play outside in a fenced yard during sensory and cognitive exercises in a sandpit, water table, and obstacle course. A walk is next and the kids can alternate between walking on a two-mile trail or ride in a stroller. This gives them the chance to exercise or just enjoy the ride! A small snack is provided when we get back to the house while enjoying a story which segues into yoga, and the day ends with art and craft time! Extra activities include but are not limited to: tea parties that help instill etiquette, zen garden meditations, beginners Zumba, bird watching, painting lessons, park hopping, recycle crafts, beading necklaces, and pottery.
