As a nanny, in several families, the children were engaging and interactive; whether, playing indoors or outside, scientifically learning everything from bugs to stars, visiting cal nature centers or talking neighborhood walks, reading books at home and visiting the library, and doing fun art activities as well as verbally interacting throughout the day! As a teacher, daily activities and conversations revolved around any topic to spur on each child's individual abilities and interest, but also encouraged each little person to fun and developmentally appropriate learning. Personally, I love kids and outdoor activities. My goal is to challenge a child to reach for anything educational, while at the same time, playfully learn through their own surroundings. I am a firm believer in education, but the best learning comes through play and involving all the 5 senses! I have nannied several families on a regular basis, and others on as as needed date night, overnight getaway, wedding or special event type of setting. Sometimes, I had an infant 3 weeks old, other times siblings of various ages, and many times twins, twins and siblings, company families, or children bodycasted or in wheelchairs. All children delight me, and all are precious! My goal is to always seek to be a guide and support to the parental goals and family traditions, while giving your kids a great time!
