What follows is my related experience in caring for, and loving children. I have been fortunate to have worked with children for most of the past 50 years, and it is something that I love to do. As a teenager I had my own neighborhood business appearing at birthday parties dressed as a clown to delight and entertain the children. After graduating from nursing school I worked in pediatric settings for many years. At times difficult, also rewarding by making a difficult times somewhat less stressful for patients and their families. I devoted volunteer hours to community childcare service agencies. I was the leader of the Infant Care service, and assistant toddler teacher at the Sunday school in my church. I was a Guardium Ad Litum in Miami and recently reconnected with the Guardian Ad Litum program in Broward County. I have had the privilege of providing Nanny services in several settings here in Broward over the last 6 years. I cared for a newborn up through age three years. I provided half time Nanny care to a wonderful family with two children, 5 months and three years, over three years, and continue to babysit for them on a regular basis. For the past four years I have been a full time, live out Nanny for another wonderful family providing full service for the boys, now age 7 and 9, including the occasional overnight care when necessary. Much to my chagrin they have made the decision to move out of the area. They will be greatly missed. My philosophy of children is to guide and support them, leading and encouraging them on their path to happiness and success, administered with lots of love and attention and lots of exciting opportunities and adventures. I look forward to building a mutually rewarding relationship with a new family, with a focus on love, joy, happiness, safety and respect. I have a very reliable vehicle, I like pets, I don’t smoke and English is my language.
