Astrid is an awesome babysitter! She is so energetic and friendly. She interacts with children very well. I felt very comfortable leaving her to watch my three children ages 9,6, and 2. My kids looked forward to having her come over and babysit them. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I must start by saying that writing this recommendation is bittersweet for us because Ms. Astrids services are no longer needed for Us. She has become such a big part of our family although she will not be caring for my child any longer she will still be part of our important events. Honestly from one super overprotective mommy ( mommy who has a record and reputation of being very needy and detailed) and daddy to another I can say that Astrid ( or Ms. ostrich as my kids say it ?) , Has been one of the biggest blessings that have come to our family. Astrid's distinctive ability to provide uncompromising care for our children has been outstanding. I had the pleasure of meeting Astrid as a coworker where we together cared for multiple children and in a child care setting but prior to that she had been a provider for my child for about four months before working with her in the center. during the time of her working with my children she has shown the ability to meet every need of my children while they were in her care. My son had a very hard time when I would leave him with anyone until I met Ms Ostrich. Astrid was able to comfort my high needs son and calm him down in a way that my son and I really needed at the time that others tried and failed at. My son has a an autoimmune disorder that caused his care takers to take special note of cleaning, which most could not follow yet she is very quick to accommodate us with and really adapt to any situation with out freaking out. She has a passion that is outstanding when it comes to keeping my children active, involved, and interested in whatever activities are going on but Most importantly safe. She shows great strength in turning most activities in to educational experiences. Her ability to care for Multiple children at one time is outstanding. I have personally seen her care and entertain for up to 30 children at a time. She is highly reliable, dedicated and intuitive when it comes to caring for the children She is responsible for. Astrid has an unique ability to Any family that chooses to add Astrid to their family would be lucky to have Astrid as great addition to the family. She easily became my children's favorite babysitter whom they quickly started to ask for by name and preferred her over any other. Astrid was great at babysitting, being a mothers helper and being a Extra set of hands for big or small jobs. Everything thing from just a few hours, over nights and even assistant while at big get togethers she was always at her best. If we still needed her services on a regular basis I would not be making this recommendation due to wanting to keep her to ourselves. So if your asking do I recommend Astrid to be care giver for your family. Absolutely but only if you are willing to have the comfort in knowing she will care for your family, and provide your children with the same care you'd provide.
