Hello! My name is Amelie! I have experience with babysitting alone with children ages 15 months-9 years. In addition, I have also looked after my young brother after school and on late nights, providing things such as meals and getting him to bed on time. For the past few years, I have been part of a in school program that places me into a classroom in which I interact with student peers that have a range of physical and/or mental disabilities. I have completed the in-person course and received certification in babysitting from the Red Cross, which has equipped me with knowledge in first aid, leadership skills, professionalism, child behavior, and what to do in the event of an emergency. I can provide services such as meal prep, tidying and cleaning, laundry, and help with any pets you may have (small, large, and exotic). I am cheerful and hardworking, and love young children. I am different from the average babysitter, as I will engage and play with your child or children, building both their and your trust, instead of just turning on the television. When I babysit, I always make sure to bring my first aid supplies as well as my goodie bag, which includes items such as coloring and sticker books to make your child or children more comfortable. I am comfortable with both indoor activities, such as legos, or outdoor activities, such as a trip to the park. At 15 years old I may be young, but I can assure you I am cheerful and hardworking! I have my own transportation available so that I can get to and from your home, but I will not be able to handle pick-ups or drop-offs for your children. I am available evening weekday care, as well as all-day weekend care. Depending on the circumstances, I may be available for last-minute care (day of).
