I am a fun-loving girl who loves to talk to, play with, and care for children. I am a very active, who loves the great outdoors! Currently, I am training for my first marathon. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family, learning languages, and exploring nature. I am very creative and love coming up with new ideas, activities and games! I am a strong Christian and strive to live my life honestly and uprightly. I graduated from college in 2014 with my Bachelors in Public Relations and am currently working on my Masters in Global Community Development. I am passionate about helping people and am blessed to have been able to volunteer with World Vision Kenya for 4 months in 2016. In between college and my masters program, I spent 14 months as an Au Pair in Germany with a wonderful family who I will always call my "German" family. The two children, ages 7 and 9, helped me become fluent in German, and forever left an impression on my heart. As a nanny, I really value interacting with the children and coming up with creative things to do with them. (I have a LARGE imagination.) I try to keep their TV time to a minimum, as I find this inhibits their creativity somewhat. If it is a nice day, I would much prefer to take them for a walk, help them grow a garden, or play with them in the leaves for example. On a rainy day, our activities could be reading books together, doing crafts, or building a fort with bed sheets! In addition to caring for the children, I gladly do household chores whenever needed. Laundry, cooking and cleaning would be no problem for me!
