Energetic New Zealand couple in Mar Vista looking for an amazing full time Nanny. Monday–Friday 9:00– 5pm (with some flexibility). Light cooking, cleaning and occasional personal assistant duties. We are looking for a nanny with emotional intelligence that is energetic, warm, gentle and fun, to care for our infant and keep up with his big brother. We have two boys aged, 4 months and 4 years. The 4 yr. old is in pre-school 9am - 12pm Mon to Fri, and attends weekly after-school activities; gymnastics, swimming, and OT. The 4 month old requires help with naps, some feeding and warm affection. The ideal candidate is loving, patient, has a sense of humor, able to set clear boundaries and keep our kids engaged with games, theater, sports, book reading, and other projects/activities in and out of the house. We require someone who has training in early childhood education and is motivated to provide assistance in the children’s development. You must love to spend time outdoors; playing in parks, going on hikes, biking, swimming and organizing beach adventures. We are a friendly, kind, respectful family who needs an extra pair of hands on deck to help us juggle daily duties. We require someone who is fully engaged, extremely well organized, trustworthy and not afraid to go above and beyond when required. We will be working part time from home and the office nearby and are looking for long-term support in balancing our work/family lives. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree - Min 3 years childcare experience - Valid CA driver license and a reliable car/ house car available as well. - Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check. - Will need a minimum of 3 references. - Must be able to travel up to two times a year overseas for 7-14 days per trip. - Non-smoker. - CPR certified within the last 12 months. - Must like dogs (we have two Pomeranians). - Occasional night time babysitting Duties: - Weekly organization and planning of kids activities - Actively engage with child development areas.
