I am a part-time Camosun College student eager to complete my ECEA license. Currently, I am volunteering at Saanich Recreation's ECO Nature Preschool. This coming January I am taking Camosun's online ELC 110 course. I'm seeking any part-time opportunities to further my experience working in early childhood. As I will be in classes MWF 12:30-2:... January-April, weekends, mornings and evenings in the Victoria/Saanich area will work best for me. My family inspired my ECEA mission. Assisting to raise six cousins (6 mo-7 yrs) has instilled my compassion, leadership and communication skills necessary to guiding children. Calming, teaching and making kids laugh feeds my seemingly boundless energy. As a barista, I make people feel at home at the family cafe, Crumsby's at the Schoolhouse. Our tight-knit staff foster genuine customer service and food made with love. Parents laugh that we double as daycare with corralling, cleaning up after and entertaining the kids.
