Hello! I am a retired, very alert, fit and young at heart 72-year-old lady and proud grandmother of two. I would love to share my quality time by caring PART TIME for a child or siblings, who need babysitting, assistance at home or friendly company and care giving. Snack preparation for the children or whatever needs you as a parent may have. A little history: I am a practicing Catholic. I am complemented often that I have a very calm, positive, friendly and warm demeanour. I have worked many years on myself and I believe that if your heart is full, then you have a lot to share! I speak fluent German and would be willing to teach conversational German along with my care if you would be interested. I took in, and raised handicapped (Children with special needs) Foster children for over 25 years. I also owned my own day home for 15 years. I have helped care for my elderly friends and relatives in the past, and I continue to do so for a few friends at the Bethany care center at present. I have a car. I am flexible with my hours. I would like to work in the NW. I am open to discussing and negotiating wage and hours. Long-term or short-term contracts are fine with me. My retirement has left this once very busy businesswoman and homemaker with too much time on her hands (So to speak) and my desire is to stay busy doing what I love to do; which is to care for children. They are my heart, and have kept me so young at heart as well. I love to play with them. Interact one on one and explore their minds to bring out their creativity and individuality. Each child has their own gift. Every child is shining light! In my opinion there is nothing that sounds as beautiful as the laughter coming from a child, or as touching as the sparkle in their eyes they have when they've been touched by joy and when they are proud of themselves! My primary goal is to help others and having a little extra pocket money. (This would give me giggles). As well; both parties happy! I look forward to meeting you answering all of your questions.
