Sitter in Houlton, Maine

I am 16 years old, and have been around kids my entire life. I have many nieces and nephews that I babysit frequently, between the ages of 1 and 12. I'm great with kids and I handle their ever so quickly changing emotions very well. Children have fragile, developing minds, and I do a great job at helping them through life by expanding their knowledge and letting them know that emotions are okay to express, and that things will be okay. I am very responsible and am able to attend to each kid's needs. I have knowledge of medication needed for different injuries or illnesses, and of any other daily medication taken. I enjoy cooking for and with children, as well as playing outdoors or indoors when the weather is bad. I'm very crafty, and have lots of ideas for little fingers to paint and create and stay busy. I keep kids clean, their hands sanitized after using the bathroom and before eating, and their faces and clothes free of dirt. I don't mind cleaning up messes, as I understand that messes are a part of life, and we can learn from them. I can be a leader, a caretaker, but most importantly, a good friend to your young ones.
