Sitter in Sanford, Florida

I am 56 as of March 3rd,2018. I graduated high school in 1979 as a graduating Junior and went to Marymount Manhattan where I graduated with full honors with a BFA in performing arts and a minor in deaf education. I taught for 2 years at Millneck Manor Deaf school for 2 years when my love of theatre took over and my career went flying with entertaining across the country, cruise lines, and Broadway. I married my partner and we traveled for 9 years before I realized I was pregnant with my son. 4 years later I had my daughter and we made the decision for the children to settle down and raise them. My 2 incredible children were raised here in Sanford FL. We chose here to live to be close to family and my aging mother. My oldest went to Lyman High in the engineering program and my daughter went to the Health academy at Seminole High. I was extremely active in the PTA at Hamilton Elementary and also mentored children in Sanford middle. As a teenager I babysat children under the age of 3 and some longer due to the children not wanting someone else which always felt good. I have always loved babies and children and do not get quezzy with diaper changes or spit up. I had to stop my activities as they went to high school to take care of my mother who had dementia. She lived with us for 10 years until she went to heaven 2015. I am excellent with seniors due to my mom being 42 when she gave birth to me in 1962. All my life I have been around the older generation and understand where they are coming from and can have conversations about their past and memories. I am looking for this job cause I'm sick of television and want to get out in the world again. I do not smoke, good health, have an excellent driving record, and also a fantastic chef. If it wasn't for standing on my feet for 10 hours a day I would be looking for a chef position, but that's not happening now. My life experiences would benefit both children and seniors.
