Hi, my name is Zdenka. I live in Riverhead. .I have worked as a nanny for 8 years in the US and Canada (both live in and live out positions). Now (from May) I take care at weekends of a boy from his 5 months of age. Most recently I cared for a child since she was 10 weeks of age until she turned 5 years. I have driven her to and from school, to her activities (ballet, gymnastic, swimming lessons...), prepared all her meals, shopped for her clothing, taken her to doctors appointments, took care of laundry etc.. I love kids and they like me too. I have lots of patience for them and I enjoy taking care of them. I'm an active woman and I don't smoke or drink. I am a reliable, honest and responsible person. I’m a safe and experienced driver and have never been in any accidents. In the past I have received American Red Cross lifeguard, first aid and CPR certifications.I do swimming supervision and swim with kids. I’m very good at acting during medical emergencies, providing care, and understanding nutrition. I love pets and can take care of them too.

zdenka has cared for my son part time for over 2 years, from the time he was 5 months old. during that time, she has always cared for him as if he were her own: cooking and feeding healthy food; attentive to his health when he came down with something; stimulating his eager mind through reading and games; taking him out several times a day, as we both believe in fresh air and exercise; cleaning the house and laundry without asking when necessary; driving him to school or playgrounds. i've trusted her with him while i've taken trips away for work, sometimes 4-5 nights at a time. he loves her and calls her by the slovakian word for 'my dear'....moje. she is a very smart and capable woman.

Zdenka has worked with our family for the past 10 years. She originally assisted my elderly father-in-law and then assisted with the care and raising of my daughter beginning when my daughter was 3 months old. My daughter is now 8. Zedenka was with my family full time until my daughter started school and then part time afterwards. Zdenka helped with general care, feeding, language development, exercise, playtime and home work. She also provided reliable transportation for visits to doctors and coordinated play dates with other children. I trust her implicitly. My daughter is smart, adventurous, polite and well-behaved.
