I have variety of skills and experience working with children. With my knowledge and qualifications, I know that I can fulfill the duties of this nanny position. My experiences for this nanny position included working as an bilingual English/teacher assistant for Jubilee Jumpstart,it's a non-profit organization with a high-quality early childhood center supporting low income families in the area of Adams Morgan community. My duties included frequent,respectful , responsive and affectionate interactions with children. I assisted teachers in the implementation of a planned weekly curriculum. I provided a variety of age and developmentally appropriate materials and activities for children. In addition to this experience, I also worked with a single parent with twins taking the lovely girls to school and also pick them up, supporting the mother with her education and during the weekends taking care of her children and doing some cooking project (fruit salad, lemonade and things age appropiate)natural walks, visiting museums (free), picnis, focus in eating healthy meals and encourage having a family style dinner when we are indoors. I was also colaborated with a large family taking care of the younger boy twins one of them presenting a language delay and I follow the language therapist procedures, I used flashing cards, repeat words several times, reading books and doing his interested activities like playing soccer, collecting rocks and leaves. In addition to this experience, I currently volunteer at the church Comunidad Cristiana Renacer with the ages 5 years old and up. I finished my child development associate (CDA classes) and I'm planning to take the test so I can get my credential. My various work experience as well as my patience for educating and working with children make me highly qualified for this nanny job.
