Hello, I'm Emily and I am starting my fourth year at UTSA. I am majoring in medical humanities with a minor in biology and my GPA is a 2.86. I have always loved being around kids and have even thought about being a school counselor after finishing college! I grew up with three brothers, one older and two younger. So growing up I was usually the one to take care of my younger brothers when my parents were gone. My one younger brother has autism, type one diabetes, and celiac disease(no wheat or gluten). I think that taking care of him has made me a great babysitter because you have to always monitor his blood sugar and making sure he does not eat anything that contains gluten. I have always considered myself very family oriented and would love to get the opportunity to interact with new children. I also love pets and have looked after family friends pets before when they were on vacation. So, I am also willing to take care of your furry friends while I am there.
