I am a 21 year old female Mount Royal student starting in the Fall of September 2016. I have recently obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia where I volunteered with many programs and worked a part time job at the Wolfville Nursing Home. I was the coordinator for a preschool aged children's program, Kinderskills, where a university is matched with a child aged 0-5 and they play together twice a week for an hour. I also volunteered with the S. M. I. L. E. program, where a university student is paired one on one with a child who has a disability. I am an outgoing young female who has a passion for child development in all areas of well-being. I like to go to the park, have picnics, play games, and ensure that the child is engaged in all different kinds of activities in order for them to develop fully. I have been working with children since I was 10 years old and am now studying to obtain a Bachelor of Child Studies majoring in Early Child and Youth Care.
