Hi! My name is Romona Walters and I'm 19 years old. I've just completed my first year of college at the Capital Community College. I was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, but at the age of 13, my family and I migrated to Hartford, Connecticut, where we currently reside. I've been a Teen Leader at the Hartford Public Library - Albany Branch for 3 years where I had the opportunity to work with children from all ages and backgrounds. I must say I absolutely love working with children; their inquisitive attitudes and loads of energy make them a joy to be around. The past 3 years as a Teen Leader, I learned so much about myself and gained valuable experience. I am currently the President of the Capital Community College Rotaract Club. Here, I've enhanced my leadership skills exponentially. Also in my free time I enjoy volunteering, arts and crafts, reading, meeting new people and enjoying life. I am flexible, responsible, dependable, fun, caring, and energetic. I hope to be a great influence on your children.
