Sitter in Sweetwater, Tennessee

My name is Lori Sandberg. I live in Sweetwater, TN, and have my own transportation. I have been married to my great husband for almost 32 years. We have two wonderful adult sons and a lovely, new daughter-in-law. I am Caucasian, 57 years old, and in good health. I am looking for a part time position, in your home or facility, caring for children ages newborn through elementary school. I have taught preschool through sixth grades with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, tutored, taught Sunday school, was Director of AWANA for 5-8 year olds, did childcare in my home, and homeschooled our sons. About 4 years ago I moved here from Arizona to be closer to my mother who has early stages of dementia. Right now she lives with her husband and doesn't require a lot of my time. At present I am working only a few days per month as a hostess/waitress in a local restaurant and need to work more hours. Doing what I love and having children in my life is a great desire, and having the opportunity to care for your children would fulfill that and be a benefit to your family as well, since I would care for them as my own! I enjoy reading to and with children, playing outdoors, watching movies, crafting, going on outings or field trips, swimming, picnicking, teaching manners, and napping :-) If your children need any tutoring or review in school subjects to prepare them for the upcoming school year I would be able to do that also. I would be willing to fix light meals, do light housework or laundry, and transport children to scheduled events. I would prefer to work hours between morning to early evenings.
