Services include general childcare (assisting with morning/evening routine, preparing meals, transportation to activities/friends' houses etc), tutoring and help with schoolwork, cleaning, swim supervision (certified lifeguard, CPR certified). I have three years of childcare experience, both babysitting for friends and neighbors and teaching group guitar and swim lessons to children ages 2-15. These group lessons sometimes included children with special needs, so I have some experience in caring for special needs children. I have additional teaching experience as a volunteer health educator in Bronx public high schools with Peer Health Exchange. I am a current college sophomore majoring in English at Fordham University. I am energetic and active and enjoy running, listening to and playing music, and reading. I am seeking a summer job so I can take an unpaid internship in Brooklyn. The internship is part time Mon-Wed from 9-5. Other than these hours I am available for any hours (mornings, late nights, etc) and am willing to provide overnight care.
