Sitter in Warwick, Rhode Island

My name is Lisa Vincent and I live in Warwick, near Rocky Hill School, and willing to travel to provide childcare assistance to those who need it the most. I am 42 years old, recently married and I have a 12 year old daughter in the 7th grade at Winman Junior High and is capable of taking care of herself until we get home from work. I am currently a substitute teacher and teacher assistant for Source4Teachers in all of North Kingstown School Distric, from pre-k to middle school ages. I came from a retail background in sales and Management for about 20 years and I ended my 10 year career with CVS/Pharmacy as of last October as while I was out on workers comp for injury, the Beauty Department Management positions for all the stores were eliminated and I chose to not to accept the position presented to me, as I was still out and court had not made the decision on if I was able go back to work or not. I decided also that it was time to move on and change careers and go back to what I love to do the most, and that's to educate kids or help them in anyway I can and its been more rewarding then anything else I have done. I also lost my mother to AML Leukemia 2 years ago, and she was my best customer and creative partner I have ever known and I also took that into consideration when leaving CVS. She always kept pushing me to be a teacher or work with a field that was helping and guiding others, especially in church. I only teach one day a month with any grade that needs help, on Sundays, at St. Francis de Sales Church in North Kingstown and help them anyother time they might need someone for something. My resume is online and I receive updates daily on who is looking for work and what position would be great for me, and it lead me here. So, I have been thinking of other ways to make some extra money, as being a substitute, I took a huge pay cut but my spirit feels like its helping in more ways then one, and I can put my head on a pillow at night and not worry about who is opening or closing the store, and if I made my monthly budget and what other events I could create to encourage people to buy clothing or skincare and cosmetics. My mom was a nurse so taking care of people is in my DNA and I love helping wherever I can. My older sister does have a horse and my daughter and I often visit the farm in Jamestown and take part in a lot of events throughout the year, as my sister is very creative too with events, lol! We find more joy guiding others and teaching in our souls, more then anything else! I am sure she would not mind to meet me and any kids down at the farm and to get out of the house! Its just an idea of many. I can chose to work when I want, which is great, but if it comes down to full time then I am willing to negotiate a fair weekly pay. I have very reliable transportation with winter tires put on every winter and safe as I can be and for others traveling in my car! I also thought that the either the child or children can come to my house too to get them out of the house as well. My daughter would mostly likely love knowing she is coming home to play with kids, then do homework, lol, as she also loves kids and can't to work and make money in babysitting! I love to cook, bake, read, travel all around to parks or beaches and enjoy the waves, and make arts and crafts too! My husband runs an arts and crafts online store in West Warwick so, I have plenty of things to chose from too! I was a single mom for 11 years, by choice, and I know what it takes to raise a child in this world, and if it wasn't for my family helping out where they could while I worked, I don't know what I would of done or not of become! I want to do the same for others and I feel like I am finally finding my true purpose. Looking forward to meeting the child or children, and hoping to help you where I can. I am very open to negotiations and working out plans with whomever it may be.
