Hello! My name is Jen and I have 13 years' progressive experience in nurturing and developmental learning and exploration of children of different ages, from newborn to teens! I am starting my daycare because I have a genuine love of children and enjoy helping them reach their full potential. I am a detail-oriented person who has a special talent for preparing/serving meals and formulas, breastmilk that has been freshly prepared or frozen, and I am a very creative teacher coming up with weekly crafts and projects for us to do that can engage children while learning and having fun! I am a huge Montessori follower, as my own children attended Montessori. I enjoy handling children's overall activities, changing diapers/toilet training and respect any timetable as instructed by parents, well-versed in monitoring the safety and well-being of children all times, tutoring, attention to detail, meal preparation, night awakening, nap time if required, bathing and grooming, house safety, hazards prevention, diaper changing and toilet training, curriculum implementation, hygiene maintenance, arrange activities (games, outdoor play if weather permits it, story time, arts & crafts, singing & dancing, show & tell, dress up, kiddie etiquette, weekly themes, etc.). I take complete responsibility for children in the absence of parents. I provide a safe, clean, eco-friendly, fun learning, nurturing and comfortable environment, centralized location and flexible hours. I will follow your guidelines and take the very best care of your child. You can rest assured that your Childcare needs will be met. I will send home a daily report on if your child had lunch, a nap, fell asleep on time, had a wet diaper or used the potty, what activities they engaged in and what types of work play and sensory games they partake in. I am a Peer Support Specialist and also CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sitter certified. I can come to your house, or you may leave your child at our beautiful farm in Arden where there are horses!
