Hello, My name is Sarah, and I have 13 years experience as an in-home health care provider working with the same company here in Joplin, MO. I have a pre-engineering degree with an emphasis in mathematics and environmental health studies. I am an avid gardener, growing and eating most of my own greens, vegetables, and fruits. I was raised in a large Christian household. At the age of five, my mother passed away, and I, along with my older siblings, raised our two youngest sisters of eleven months and two years. From age of seven, until I left for college at fifteen, I ran the entire farms' daily meals, cleaning, and homeschooling routine. I'm looking for a part-time to full time position to supplement my home health care position, and would especially like to work with families who are looking for one-on-one care for their children, who want a level of engagement with their children that includes learning activities, like reading and writing; outside time, like playing in the backyard or planting a few indoor seedlings, and taking them on day trips to local parks, libraries, or sites like the George Washington National Monument.
