Hello, My name is Patti Kicklighter. I am an energetic 62 yo retired nurse. My medical background is in Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Postpartum and Pediatrics. As an LPN, I served in the Army for 11 yrs and 4 as a civilian. Wanting to be a hands on mommy, I quit the work world and stayed home to raise my three sons but opened an at-home-daycare to provide my skills to other parents in need of childcare. It was a win-win situation for myself and my children and the other families as it provided playmate interaction and encouraged me to abundantly research aspects of Early Childhood Education.
