As a new resident of Bed-stuy, Brooklyn, Carrigan O'Brian is thrilled to be pursuing her acting career! Carrigan moved to the city after receiving her B.A. in psychology and theater at Sarah Lawrence College in May. Carrigan has been babysitting and taking care of children for years! In fact, it was her first job 10 years ago! Carrigan is looking for part time work/ evening work when she is not at her internship at 52nd Street Theater (an educational theater center for marginalized kids). Carrigan has worked with many different age groups. For the last two summers, Carrigan worked for Overland Summers leading trips in Costa Rica where she was responsible for the safety and well-being of 12 middle/high school students with one other college student. Before that she tutored English for two 8-year-old kids while studying abroad in Spain, and babysat twice a week for an autistic 12-year old in Bronxville, NY. When she was in high school, Carrigan took care of 2 toddlers for 2-weeks while their parents were working full time. Carrigan has extensive qualifications for babysitting your child or children. She has her wilderness survival certificate as well as her CPR and first aid certificates, which are valid for 2 more years.
