I worked as live in/out nanny for over 10 years providing full-time care for children ages newborn to 9 years. Responsibilities included: dressing, feeding, bathing and helping with homework. Additional activities included trips to the beach, park, movies, zoo, and variety of museums. I also assisted families with household chores including light housekeeping and laundry. I worked for a year as an Assistant Teacher at a Montessori School. My primary responsibility was preparing and leading introductory Spanish lessons for over 20 children ages 3 to 6 and also responsible of assisting teachers with all aspects of childcare and education. I consider myself very patient, easygoing, fun, and energetic. I have a solid foundation of experience and continue to hone my skills through mentoring and reading current literature on childcare. I have always had a passion for working with children and watching their minds grow and like knowing that I can help educate and nurture a child.
