Sitter in Brantford, Ontario

In need of a 'sitter? Looking for someone youthful and engaging? I'm Tereza, a 16 year old high school student with several years of childcare services under my belt. What started with just the children of family friends and almost constant assistance in the kindergarten classes of my old middle school, made me decide to reach out the branch a little further to help other parents in need. A little about me - like I said, I'm a high school student. I've been on honor roll for my two years of high school, and have a solid foundation of A's and B's in all my classes. I have a small, tight knit set of friends and a good track record that I take pride in maintaining. I dabble in the arts such as drama productions, musical instruments, and of course, art itself. I find I shine most in the kitchen, my culinary skills are - not to toot my own horn here - far beyond my age group and is something I take pride in. Despite this, I intend to become a Corporate Lawyer, and am studying hard so as to pursue that dream. My mother is a bookkeeper and immigrated to Canada at the age of 11, while my father, a truckdriver, grew up in Quebec and has yet to step foot outside of it. My brother, also a high school student, will be leaving for college next summer to study as a behind the scenes and sound effects worker for movie productions. I'm an animal lover, with three beautiful cats of my own, Nitro, Nalini, and Tabitha. I'm a polo-vegetarian (I only eat chicken as a meat), and am lactose free due to allergies. I take part in several volunteer groups and activities, and have dabbled in the area of sports. As for my work, my most viable hours are afterschool starting at 4:00pm, all the way down till 10:00pm, but Overnight childcare is also an option on Fridays or weekends. This schedule may change due to work or my volunteer activities, as I am a member of a Brantford committee (BYP) that sometimes takes up chunks of my week. Price is usually charged per hour, and is always negotiable depending on family budget or situation. I have no criminal offenses on record and previous CPR treatment, and am also a very capable chef/baker in all dietary/varying areas. I work best with children aged five and over. I am willing to do activities with children such as going on walks, crafts, or movies, with parental consent. Any bonus parts (if I was to take a child(s) to the movies and bought the tickets) would be out of my own pocket unless the parent/guardian insists upon covering it themselves. I am willing to travel outside of Brantford for childcare with discussed terms beforehand. I absolutely do not discriminate against families colors, orientations, beliefs, or rights of any sort.
