Hi! My name is Megan, and I'm looking for part-time/occasional babysitting positions. I've been working as a nanny for 5 years, where I have held a variety of positions within Canada and abroad. I have experience working with children of all ages (spanning from 3 months to 13 years) and with a varying responsibilities (including: driving, cooking, light housework, homework, outtings, scheduling and meal planning, house management, traveling and overnight babysitting). I'm a very hands-on nanny who likes to keep the kids active and engaged in things that they enjoy doing. I love being outdoors and taking the children on outings (to playgroups, classes, museums, etc.). I also enjoy cooking and baking, arts and crafts, and music. My prior experience has allowed me to become very adaptable and creative in my approach to working with children, and I truly enjoy discovering and learning from every unique child and family I work with. I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in August of 2014 from Psychology, where I had an emphasis on Early Childhood Education and development. During my time at Western, I have taken various courses that have given me a strong grasp on child development and hands on experience in an Early Childhood Education centre (The University of Western Ontario Laboratory School). Throughout my studies I have also received the Linda Smith-Holbert Award in Early Childhood Education for excellent achievement in Early Childhood Education.
