Sitter in Whispering Pines, North Carolina

I have been around children all my life. I have several cousins that I grew up babysitting. I also worked at a camp for six years. During my summers there I provided care along with my co-counselor for up to 12 campers. The campers were girls ages 9 to 12. I have a passion for taking care of children. I also worked at a childcare center where I mainly worked with the school aged children. I also worked in the infant up to 4 year old room. While working at the childcare center I had to make daily lesson plans, assist with homework, and many other things. I have had training on SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) prevention and many areas related to infants. I graduated with a social work degree where I had two internships dealing with children who have behavior issues such as ADHD, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), Asperger's and many other issues. I grew up in North Carolina and have one older brother and come from a very close family. I love to help those less fortunate and love to give back to my community.
