My name is Shannon and I graduated from Lakeland Community College during Spring of 2011 with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have lots of experience working with children of all ages. I have over 5 years of experience as a Lead Preschool teacher at a childcare center. I have been in the childcare field for over 13 years. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention. I believe that children can be encouraged to learn and grow by providing a foundation of developmentally appropriate experiences where all children can succeed in a safe and nurturing environment. It is important to know that each child is a unique individual and that all children can learn. Any place caring for children needs responsible and dependable employees. I not only enjoy children, but I realize that nurturing and caring for children is a very important job.
