I am 17 and recently graduated from Northcoast Preparatory Academy, a high school in Arcata, CA. I will be attending UC Davis in the fall and I will be majoring in child development and psychology. For the past two years, I have worked as a school aftercare provider at Union Street Charter School. I read, play games, and do crafts with students while their parents are in board meetings or otherwise occupied. I am well equipped to babysit multiple children because of this experience. I also volunteer at Union Street and Fuente Nueva Charter School. I have spent time helping the students in different subjects such as science, reading, math, and physical education. I also volunteered in Fuente Nueva's Science Club and I helped the 4th and 5th graders with their science fair projects; I kept them on track, helped them research, and helped them write their papers. If you are interested, I could also tutor you child while babysitting. Along with my elementary school experience, I have babysat for families in the past. I enjoy reading, doing crafts, and playing with the children. I also love baking and cooking. I would be interested in following any directions you had for me, or anything you wanted me to do with your child. I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days and nights.
