Sitter in Columbia, Missouri

I have babysat from infants to teenagers for about seven years now. In high school I volunteered at KidCrest leading a kindergarten girls small group for a year and was also a nanny for two 3-year-old children. For about two years I was the lead preschool teacher at a center in Columbia. I had a class of approximately 25 four and 5-year-olds, and we spent the year preparing for kindergarten with a fun, yet educational curriculum that I built. After that, I was the Assistant Director for about a year and then I became the Director of a preschool in town. I have experience with all types of children ranging from speech impairments to down syndrome. I speak and read a basic level of French and have a good understanding of ASL. I am also Sudden Infant Death Syndrome certified, have a Class E license, CPR and First Aid certified and have a Food Handler's card.
