I have over 10 years of experience working with and providing care for children of all ages. When I was in high school I discovered my love of working with children when I began babysitting, tutoring, and teaching Sunday school. In college, I quickly found a job working in a church childcare center and tutoring at the local YMCA. For my senior capstone project, I worked with an elementary school to create an after school arts program called Arts For All, where I taught visual arts classes and provided childcare and tutoring services. I graduated from Marshall University in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Art in Psychology and a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Visual Art (Arts & Crafts time is my favorite). I then moved to Nevada where I taught elementary school for two years (4th & 5th grade) and completed my Master's in Education. I just relocated to the NRV, where I get the honor of helping take care of my 18-month-old niece. We enjoy reading books together, going on trips to the Children's Museum, taking walks on the local area trail systems, and music time (I sing, play guitar, and have hand drums to play with kids). I am comfortable providing care for children of all ages and abilities.
