My name is Carolyn. I am going to be a third year at the University of Cincinnati. I will be a second year in Early Childhood Education (I was in Nursing my first year) and I am really excited for the semester to start back up. I have been surrounded by kids basically my whole life. I used to babysit my next door neighbors children when they would go on dates or grocery runs. Two years ago I babysat for a family that had a 4-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy during the summer. We stayed busy by going to the pool, playing on the playground, painting pictures, and we even went downtown to the aquarium one day. This past summer I worked for a family that had 12-year-old and 8-year-old boys. I picked them up and dropped them off at certain locations and destinations. I grocery shopped for the family, cooked dinners (such as salmon and pasta), checked homework, did laundry, and tidied up the house while the parents were at work. I have worked with little babies all the way up to 15-year-olds and I always have a lot of fun doing it!
