I grew up the oldest of seven children; having six younger siblings made me destined to go into child care because I have been babysitting since since my parents thought I was able to. Although it never felt like a chore, I really liked caring for my siblings, it made me feel like I had a purpose. In middle school I got my first job at my church working in the daycare. I worked there whenever they needed me for four years. I went off to college and worked with children with behavioral issues aged 2-4 at the Child Development Center at the University of Kansas. After I moved back to Wichita I got a job at a learning center in town and was a lead teacher in a toddler classroom, working with ages 10 months- two years. Childcare has always been what I love and enjoy doing. I love being creative with activities to do with the children. I try to do something new and fun every day to keep children active and entertained.
