Sitter in Grandville, Michigan

When I was twelve I started to babysit children in my neighborhood. I loved playing with them and caring for them. I still babysit/nanny today. I love children and would love to work with them again. Helping them grow and explore the world they live in provides me with a sense of fulfillment. During the summer of 2009 I worked part time at a child development center. I normally showed up just before or after lunch and stayed until the end of the day. This meant I put children down for naps, helped during free time and assisted with afternoon actives. During the winter of 2012 and 2013 I also worked at a daycare, playing with children and teaching them. My shifts there varied, as did my role. I performed many tasks and watched over children of varying ages. During the 2012 to 2013 school year I substitute taught in a pre-school special needs classroom. I substituted in the same pre-school classroom in 2013 to 2014 , but I also substituted in the Head Start room as well. I just finiahed working at a child development center right now.
