Hello, my name is Courtney! I am 19 years old and I am a Wayne State University honors student studying Psychology. I have decided to spend my summer working with kids, because I love their energy and imagination. I am also a pet friendly girl and love working with animals. I am also an experienced driver with a car and with a clean record. I have babysat children of all ages for over 7 years now. To me as a babysitter, it is job to give kids a nice, fun experience while also maintaining their well being. I usually have crafts and activities as options for children to take part in, but I do like to listen to what the children enjoy for consideration. Another important aspect is to work with parents on getting an understanding of what they think their child needs, because every child is different and special in their own right and needed to be treated as such. It is also equally as important to make the parents' time out of the house as stressless as possible. This why I am happy to pick up any light chores around the house and provide any additional work the parents might need and to do what takes to make the parents feel comfortable leaving the house.
