Experienced In Home Babysitting Cousins We have 38 years of experience babysitting and of child care between the two of us. We treat all children we take care of like our own. We have our own children a 12 year old girl, 10 year old boy and 2 year old girl between the both of us. We are accepting children from newborn to elementary age. We believe that every child, if given the right skills, are able to be to accomplish great things, that all children need love and a trusting foundation. We provide all healthy meals, snacks, and drinks. Please provide the sippy cup or bottle if one is needed. Please alert us if any allergies or food restrictions. We are able to accommodate different schedules and are flexible with our hours and are very reliable. We agree it is important for development that children sleep at home, however we understand some occasions do not always allow this, so we are available for overnight care with advanced notice. We have a single level home. We have a fenced in back yard, a small swimming pool which the child is only allowed to swim in with strict supervision and parents permission. We have a small play house, a teeter-totter, bikes, push toys, ride on toys, a scooter ,a basketball hoop, balls, jump rope, and a sprinkler. We believe children should play outside at least two hours a day if not more. We limit television time to less than an hour a day of educational shows, unless we are having a movie day where we get all the blankets and pillows and cuddle, eat popcorn and watch a movie. We have scheduled at least an hour of educational learning to help the children get ready for school. This schedule time is used for age appropriate learn whether it be counting, ABC's, Math, adding and subtracting. Ashley enjoys teaching the children simple Spanish words and phrases. We also love music, dancing and playing assorted instruments. We love doing arts and crafts and allowing the children to use their imagination. We set aside time to read to the children and help them read. We have dogs and cats. We believe that animals can have a soothing effect on children. All the animals are bathed biweekly and have flea medication. Animals can play a huge part in children's lives. An animal helps to teach children responsibility along with unconditional love.
