I thoughly enjoy working with children of all ages. I love that children are innocent yet honest. Most recently I volunteered for several months as an Assistant Teacher in the Children's Ministry for about 30- 3-year-olds at my church. I taught them relevant Bible stories and used arts and crafts, and escorted children to restroom and playground. For the past 4 years, I have helped on a PRN basis as an Assistant Teacher at Estella's Home Day Care in Glenn Heights. This agency has children from new born until 4 years old. I helped changing diapers, meal preparations, arts and crafts, and learning exercises such as incorporating music into activities. While living in Alabama, I cared for children ages new borns to 8 years old on a PRN basis. I am innovative, reliable, and responsible. I use creativity to accelerate their learning. I am compassionate, friendly, attentive, and flexible. I have a Bachelors degree in Social Work. My hobbies include writing poetry, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
