As I stated above, I am a mother of three older children: my girls are 18 & 21, my son just recently turned 16. I am employed as a Paraprofessional with experience working with special needs/handicapped students: a few but not limited to as follows: autism , down syndrome, learning disability, behavior just to name a few. I am multifaceted in many areas of childcare - girl scout leader, girl scout council position through a grant teaching Waterbury students intro to college prep, substitute paraprofessional. I have volunteered in two Preschools, as well as the elementary, secondary, Jr high, into the HS where my children attended. Was on many committees, and held quite a few board positions also throughout the years. I believe myself to be well rounded in the art of childcare. I'm friendly, outgoing, thrifty, crafty, well versed, and logical. Each child is their own individual and I believe should be treated as such.
