started off working with children when I was 13 and could babysit. I have always liked working with children. I first started fully working with children when I was 18 as a jr. sports camp counselor, from there I moved to the YMCA as a before and after school supervisor. I stayed with the Y for 5 years. I than moved on to a day care setting where I worked in all the classrooms. Toddler-Jk/SK class. After about a year I decided to become a nanny and I love it. I started watching 2 boys 13 months (at the time) and 4. They are now 7and 11y ears old and I still babysit them every so often on weekends. We would take trips on the city bus all through out Hamilton, I walked them to school, and we also attended the Ontario Early Years program. I than stattend a new job with a family with 2 girls. One was 6 months when I started ( now 5) They other wad 4 years old. ( now 9) I ruan errans for the family, take girls to school, make dinner, organize the house, clean, take the girls to camps, swimming lessons. I shop for the family, help with planning birthday parties, watch the house while they are on vacation, program plan for children's education. Potty trained the 3 year old. (was trained before the age of 3) I also take the girls on play dates, trips, ontario early years, doc apps, haircuts etc. I am currently working with a family with 2 girls. Ages 3 years old and 5 years old. They were 2 and 4 when I started I teach educational programing to the 3 year old during the day with also outdoor play and outtings. We have gone to the library for storytime, Kindermusik, flying squirrel, early years, farmers markets, petting zoos. I take both children to dance and swimming lessons. I also take them to meet their parents for appointments. I grocery shop, do housework, cook meals, and do laundry. I have experience working with children from 5 months old - 13 years old. I have also potty trained 3 out of the 6 children I have nannies.
