Hello! I am Katherine, I am from Ecuador. I came to the United States to study child psychology. I am currently a Nationally Certified Counselor and I am looking to settle in the NYC area, while I work towards becoming a Professional Counselor for the state of New York. I have my Masters in Psychology, focusing in child development. I have worked extensively with children, including summer camps, counseling sessions, and baby sitting. Currently, I am taking courses to become certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and have used many of these techniques on prior clients to assist with behavior problems, and emotional issues. I love working with children because they are so energetic and excited to learn.
