I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Lulu Bready for employment. Lulu worked for our family as a nanny for two years from June 2014 to June 2016. She was reliable, responsible and often went above and beyond what we requested of her. While her main responsibilities included caring for our twin boys from birth until they recently started preschool, she also looked after our now four-year-old boy full time initially and then occasionally as he transitioned to pre-school. She was adept at anticipating the needs of this wide-range of ages and juggling three children battling for her attention at once when required. During her time with us, Lulu always showed up a few minutes early and was often willing to stay late if needed, even with limited notice. In fact, in two years, she only took one sick day. As a parent with a partner who is often traveling, being able to rely on Lulu to be there on time and her willingness to step in, for example, if a last-minute doctor’s appointment arose, was very reassuring. In addition to being reliable, I also never had to worry about the level of care the boys were receiving when she was there. She always made sure they were well taken care of – changing diapers frequently, preparing well-balanced meals and snacks, and maintaining a regular schedule for them filled with play, reading, music and rest. Our twins were preemie and required extra attention, early on, in terms of bottle feeding and other initial health issues. Lulu was with us through the entire journey, helping out during my maternity leave, and enthusiastically learning what was required of her in terms of these special needs. She also stayed with us a few times at night to give us a respite from the frequent feedings and nighttime demands. In many ways, her efforts helped me maintain my sanity during a trying time right after their birth. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Lulu often found ways to go above and beyond what was requested of her. Without prompting, she established a schedule of chores that she would take care of around the house during nap times – including laundry, bottle sterilization, and sometimes family dinner preparations and grocery shopping. She also would bring arts and crafts activities to occupy our older child. She consistently communicated with me regarding concerns about the boys’ health and well-being – something that proved important during this past winter with frequent colds, ear infections and fevers. Lulu proved a vital addition to our family over the last two years and will truly be missed. I know she will be a conscientious, responsible and caring employee in her future endeavors and recommend her without reservations for employment. Please feel free to contact me with additional questions.

Lulu Bready is absolutely fantastic! She started as an occasional babysitter and moved into more of a part-time nanny role down the road. She is efficient, organized, keeps things moving in the right direction. She is also warm, thoughtful, gracious, and creative. My son was 3-5 when she worked with us. She did some light errands for me and would shuttle my son back and forth from pre-school. She ate dinner with us every night and really became one of the family. we've never been able to find anyone who was as wonderful as she was. It's almost 4 years later and we still talk about her all the time. If I could pick her up and move her to Florida, I would. She is amazing and any family that she works with will be lucky to have her! I highly and emphatically recommend her!
